The Montara Water and Sanitary District Board is transitioning to a by-division electoral system, holding five public hearings for input on creating five election divisions compliant with federal and California Voting Rights Acts. Interested parties can provide written comments or testify orally at the hearings, either in person or via Zoom, but court challenges may be limited to issues raised during these hearings or written correspondence submitted to the District.
